Madison Indiana boasts one of the largest Historic Landmark Districts in the United States, a total of 133 blocks. The Cornerstone Society was formed in 1988 to preserve endangered properties in this lovely community. As an affiliate of Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana, the Cornerstone Society has saved many 19th century structures from the wrecking ball. It is our hope that through education, design and legal assistance, Madison will survive and prosper for future generations to enjoy.
